Jio’s friends were grilled at the historic US Congressional hearing on Anti-trust. Facebook, Amazon, Google, and Apple - the *really* BIG four were put on the virtual stand.

Apple is the world’s most valuable company. Cook keeps the keys to the App Store - Apple’s fortress (more than a walled garden).

Apple while seeking a rent to provide access, has the policy “all developers are equal”, but in practice, some developers are more equal than others.

Google dominates search on a global level. While google also doing almost everything else.

Google seems to use its search algorithm to unfairly prop up its other services. While also stealing content from publishers and sites to make its search more ‘relevant to users’.

The world’s richest human - Jeff Bezos with his everything store dominates then US e-commerce market. “Amazon is the only game in town.”

It’s a marketplace with third-party sellers, and Amazon as the dominant seller. Amazon routinely rips popular products with Amazon basics.
