Yesterday, accompanied by my son Andrew Guyo, I had the solemn honour of joining the Nandi County Women Representative, Hon. @Muge_Cynthia, and other leaders in mourning the late Mwalimu John Cheruiyot Keter in Kapsabet, Nandi County.

Mwalimu was not just a teacher to many, but a father, a mentor, and the proud father of Wakili Richard Cheruiyot, Chairman of @epzakenya.

We celebrate Mwalimu as a devoted community leader and a true beacon of unity; one whose life reminded us that leadership begins in the heart and is proven in service to others.

My heart-felt condolences to his beloved family, his friends, and the entire community he served so selflessly: May his soul rest in eternal peace.

It is with profound sorrow that we bid farewell to my beloved sister, Mary Halaku Galgalo, daughter of the late Luka Galgalo, former PC- Central. Today, we lay her to rest with heavy hearts.

I first met Halaku when I was twenty, and throughout all these years, she embodied kindness, love, and generosity. She was a woman of unwavering courage, fearless in every sense.

To my children, she was the most devoted and loving aunt. Her nurturing presence during their visits to Mombasa will forever be cherished and deeply missed.

The void she leaves behind is immeasurable. A mother is an entire universe to her children, and the profound loss felt by her beloved sons, Luka and Leon, can never be filled. My deepest condolences also extend to her siblings; Rufo, Baji, and Sanyo, and the entire family during this difficult moment.

May the Almighty God grant her eternal rest and peace.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, @koske_felix, as well as Cabinet Secretaries @HonAdenDuale, @HonTuya, and @harrietchiggai. I am equally thankful to @GovMohamudAli, Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, CEOs, Director Generals, and other esteemed leaders from the National Government. Additionally, I extend my appreciation to the political leaders from Marsabit and Isiolo, along with the dedicated staff of @NLC_Kenya, friends, family, and the entire community for joining us to celebrate my son's wedding. A special thanks to our cultural leaders from the Gadha system for their presence, which held great significance for our family and helped make the day unforgettable.

Celebrating this joyous occasion with such a distinguished group of guests was truly wonderful. The overwhelming support and warmth shared by everyone added an extra dimension of joy to the celebration.

Congratulations to my son, Abduba, and daughter, Guyatu, on their beautiful union. May Almighty God bless you both as you embark on this new journey together, filled with love, happiness, and a lifetime of cherished memories.

To cap a fruitful working day in Marsabit County, I had the honour of attending the wedding ceremony of Abduba Jirma and Guyatu Hassan.
Alongside Cheif of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei @koske_felix CSs Soipan Tuya @HonTuya Aden Duale @HonAdenDuale , Governor Mohamud Ali @GovMohamudAli , PSs, Belio Kipsang @ImmigrationDept , Harsama Kello family members and other dignitaries, we witnessed them exchange vows, beautifully fulfilling the words of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) that when a man marries, he fulfills half of his religion.
May Allah bless their union with love, mercy, and endless happiness.

In the afternoon, I had the pleasure of attending the colourful wedding of Guyatu and Abdub in Marsabit town, Marsabit County. I wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and endless blessings.

Honoured the invitation of the families of Dr. Shadrack Jirima (NDMA), Kabale Tache (CEO, NLC), Godana Hassan and Orge Gilla to celebrate the wedding of their children, Abdub Jirima and Guyatu Hassan, in Marsabit County.

In my remarks, I raised concern over the growing threat of illicit transnational drug trade in frontier counties like Marsabit, urging collective action to protect and empower our youth.

Congratulations to Abdub and Guyatu as they begin their new journey together.
