The scale of Kenya’s transformation agenda, coupled with the administration’s urgency in delivering sustained economic growth, expanding opportunities and improving the quality of life of citizens, demands a Public Service that functions as One Government, coordinated in action, disciplined in execution and consistently aligned around shared national priorities.
Today, I convened the monthly meeting of all Principal Secretaries at the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya AIST) within Konza Technopolis. As institutions at the forefront of Kenya’s ambitions in science, technology, innovation and knowledge-based development, they provided a fitting setting for discussions on the future of public service delivery and national transformation.
The meeting provided an opportunity to take stock of progress across key Government programmes and priorities, address emerging challenges and strengthen coordination across Ministries, Departments and Agencies. We reviewed updates on productivity and performance management, public financial management reforms, food security interventions, national security, public health preparedness, government communication and investment promotion initiatives, among other strategic matters.
Our discussions reaffirmed the central role of Principal Secretaries in translating policy into tangible outcomes for citizens.
Greater accountability, stronger collaboration across Government and an unwavering focus on execution remain critical if we are to deliver measurable and lasting improvements in the lives and livelihoods of Kenyans.
Steady progress continues to be recorded across flagship programmes, with important implementation milestones being achieved across sectors.
As we move forward, our collective responsibility is to sustain momentum, resolve bottlenecks with urgency and ensure that every Government intervention contributes meaningfully to the national objective of building a more prosperous, secure and inclusive Kenya.
Chaired by the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff @koske_felix , I joined fellow Principal Secretaries for the monthly consultative meeting at the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya AIST) in Konza City, to review the progress of key government programmes priorities.
The meeting provided an opportunity to assess updates across critical government programmes such as health care, food security and national security, while taking stock of the implementation of flagship government projects. Our discussions also focused on improving coordination in order to accelerate service delivery to the people.
Holding the meeting at Konza Technopolis signified Kenya's technology and innovation as key drivers of public service transformation and national development.
As @GOKSPECIALPROGS, We remain focused on improving execution and delivering tangible results that improve the lives and livelihoods of Kenyans, through strengthened inter-agency coordination in disaster risk management, emergency response and social protection.

Pleased to have witnessed the Assent to the National Disaster Risk Management Bill, 2023, by H.E. President Dr. @WilliamsRuto, among other key legislations, at State House, Nairobi.
Proud of our contribution as the State Department for Special Programmes, where we previously domiciled disaster management, in championing and supporting the development of this critical Bill aimed at strengthening Kenya’s disaster preparedness and response framework.
The Act now establishes a robust legal and institutional framework, including the National Disaster Risk Management Authority and County Disaster Risk Management Committees, to enhance coordination, early warning systems, and timely response across both levels of government.

This modest yet impressive home belongs to Fikirini Jacobs Kahindi,
Kenya's youngest PS at 30 yearsold. His rise from a humble background.
A muddy house that can be seen still standing is remarkable.
President Ruto visited his new home during the homecoming celebrations.
