@audrow You need a use case where high scale is required to make hardware cheap while providing some real value. I think tesla has both. They have clear demand to manufacture the cars plus manufacturing knowhow to build them for cheap and make the numbers work. (2/3)

@GergelyOrosz A steep learning curve indeed especially for someone without any graphics background. Even collecting and understanding all the vocabulary takes long. On top of that understanding 3D asset creation and CG concepts is a totally different ball game.

@GergelyOrosz Gaming industry is very different in terms of software practices that are universally accepted in non gamedev world. It's due to the nature of the product and organization hierarchy. Each game will have different game logic and programmers are not the one calling the shots.
