Spoke to Zee News about the controversial remarks by Muslim League leader K. M. Shaji regarding Muslim women and the growing number of Muslim girls following atheist pages.

Shaji called this a “very dangerous trend” and questioned whether Muslim organisations should be guiding these women.

I also spoke about the silence of Rahul Gandhi, who frequently speaks about “smashing patriarchy” and women’s freedom.

If patriarchy is wrong, it should be opposed consistently—irrespective of who makes the remarks or which community is involved.

Women deserve the freedom to make their own choices.

This is the treatment a woman Dalit leader getting in Congress in KERALA.

Remya Haridas was Loksabha MP and current MLA. She lodged police complaint that she was attacked by Congress local leaders.

If an MLA who also was an MP is getting such treatment as she is a woman and Dalit, what kind of message it is giving.
