सरकार के पास चीनी का बफर स्टॉक 6 लाख टन रहता है और घरेलू खपत 28 लाख टन है। अगर निर्यात नहीं होता, तो चीनी का बफर स्टॉक बना रहता।

चीनी मिलों ने कृषि मंत्रालय के अफसरों को 5 लाख टन अतिरिक्त चीनी उत्पादन का पपलू थमा दिया। अफसरों और मंत्रालय ने आइसक्रीम समझकर लपालप चाट लिया।

Every day, thousands of delivery personnel begin their routes early—navigating dense urban neighbourhoods, remote rural areas, and high-demand pockets—to ensure that households receive their LPG cylinders without delay. With increased booking volumes, the focus on efficient routing, faster turnaround, and continuous dispatch cycles has become even more critical.

Supporting this last-mile effort is a strong and evolving consumption pattern. During this period, HPCL supplied over 3.73 lakh Free Trade LPG cylinders of 5 Kg and over 21,400 cylinders of 2 Kg, ensuring access to clean cooking fuel for migrant workers and economically diverse communities, where flexibility and affordability are key.
The growing shift towards digital platforms has further enabled these operations. With 99.3% of LPG bookings now being made online, delivery teams receive real-time updates, allowing for better planning and optimised delivery routes.

Each cylinder is delivered through a DAC/OTP-based authentication system, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and secure handover to consumers.

In the LPG segment, HPCL has further reinforced its leadership, delivering 146.4 lakh cylinders during the same period. The Company’s robust infrastructure continues to operate at peak capacity, ensuring timely deliveries even under elevated demand conditions.

The growing demand for Free Trade LPG cylinders—2,94,126 units of 5 Kg and 20,112 units of 2 Kg—also reflects HPCL’s expanding role in enabling inclusive and flexible energy access, particularly for migrant and economically vulnerable households.

A defining pillar of HPCL’s operational excellence is its near-total digital ecosystem. With 99.2% of LPG bookings now routed through digital platforms, the Company is setting new benchmarks in customer convenience, speed, and transparency. In a major decision, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, has approved the revision of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) project cost from ₹43,129 Crore to ₹79,459 Crore and additional equity investment of ₹8,962 Crore by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The total equity investment of HPCL after increment will be ₹19,600 Crore.

Known as the ‘Jewel of the Desert’ this massive refinery will produce about 26% of petchem products. It has a Nelson Complexity Index of 17 & is highly energy efficient.
This biggest project being undertaken in the oil sector in India, will have worlds’ largest Polypropylene Unit & Polyethylene swing unit to make more than 30 different polymer grades.

The project is ushering an era of economic transformation in Rajasthan and has created tremendous opportunities for direct and indirect employment for the youth in the region.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आज बालोतरा में स्थित HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited की revised project cost को ₹79,459 करोड़ की मंजूरी दी।

दुनिया के चौथे सबसे बड़े refiner के रूप में भारत की वर्तमान क्षमता 258 MMTPA है, इस रिफाइनरी के शुरू होने से इस रिफायनरिंग क्षमता में 9 MMTPA की वृद्धि हो जाएगी।

ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में भी यह रिफाइनरी देश को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में एक सशक्त कदम है। इससे आयात पर निर्भरता कम होगी और देश की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा मजबूत होगी।

यह रिफाइनरी राजस्थान की आर्थिक शक्ति बढ़ाने और युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के नए द्वार खोलने के साथ राज्य के विकास के लिए एक माइलस्टोन साबित होगी। राज्य को भारत के 'ग्रोथ इंजन' बनने की ओर बढ़ाएगी।

कंस्ट्रक्शन के दौरान एक लाख से अधिक रोजगार सृजित करने वाली यह रिफाइनरी हजारों प्रत्यक्ष और लाखों अप्रत्यक्ष रोजगार पैदा करेगी, समृद्धि के नए द्वार खोलेगी, जिससे उनके सपनों को नई उड़ान मिलेगी और आत्मनिर्भर भारत के संकल्प को मजबूती मिलेगी।
