DT LA reached 102 today, the current forecast has today kicking off a 4 to 5-day long stretch of highs of at least 100 degrees. Since the record began (1877), the longest stretch of 100 or greater T was 8 days long in 1955. If we see 5 days, it will tie the 3rd longest stretch.
It is currently 96 at Downtown #LosAngeles - and should approach 100 degrees for the day.
