My mother in law has been an atheist as long as I’ve known her. Today, she came forward and placed her trust in Jesus for salvation.
I’ve been praying for her since 2004.
Don’t give up on seeing others saved!!
Pay attention to what’s coming out of your mouth. Are you speaking the problem or are you speaking the promises? Are you talking to God about how big your problems are, or are you talking to your problems about how big your God is?
We’re not going to be here forever. It’s easy to live uptight, frustrated, worried, but most of the things that are upsetting us, in the big picture, don’t really matter.
"Sometimes life touches one person with a bouquet and another with a thorn bush. But the first may find a wasp in the flowers, and the second may discover roses among the thorns." #BillyGraham
Sometimes little things keep us from big blessings: a little pride, a little compromise, a little jealousy. Put your old self down and put on the new you: the free you, the blessed you, the happy you, the victorious you.
Have the right perspective: whatever enemies you face—enemies of fear, enemies of depression, enemies of poverty, enemies of insecurity—they have already been defeated. Now here’s the key, if you don’t realize this, you can let a defeated enemy keep you from your destiny.
When I was in college at Florida State, my defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews taught me to make small progress each day. That same approach – called the 2% Way – helped me learn to do brain surgery.

Get up every morning and put on a fresh new attitude. This day is a gift from God. It’s filled with possibilities, new ideas, new friendships. Stay focused on the good; stay focused on the possibilities.
We’re supposed to reign. God didn’t crown you to live defeated, burdened down by fear and addictions. You are crowned to defeat enemies, crowned to take your family to a new level, crowned to succeed, to excel, to leave your mark.
It’s easy to look to people as our source or look to our job as our source. God uses people, He uses jobs, He uses contracts, but they are not the source. God is your source.
It may seem like the end, but really it’s a new beginning. You are stronger than you think. You have more in you than you think, more talent, more determination, more courage. God said He would never leave you.
It was unfair, but God saw it. He knows who left you out; He saw the times where you didn’t think you could go on. He’s promised that He’s going to make it beautiful. He’s going to do something amazing in your life.
The scripture says, “Is there anything too hard for God?” He spoke worlds into existence. He flung stars into space. He has you in the palm of His hand. What He’s destined for your life will come to pass.
This is your chance to step up to a new level, your chance to break the addiction, to make your marriage great. God is going to cause you to accomplish more in less time. This is a window where God is going to give you the opportunity to finish what you started.
The only thing that will stop the blessing is if you believe the lies, if you think you’re limited. That may be true, but you’re the difference-maker, you’re the one to defy the odds, you’re the one to set new standards.
If what you’re praying about isn’t changing, then God is using the situation to change you. If it’s not working out, then it’s working out something in you. All things are working for your good.
