The Mesa Crest Repeater Club has opened up its repeater system, located in Crestline CA. The purpose of this is to allow anyone that has a 2-way radio to transmit if there is imminent danger to life or property.
This is a licensed frequency. If you have a GMRS license, please feel free to get on the repeater and give real time fire updates.
If you are unlicensed, you may transmit without a license under the following situation:
