First time seeing this in Singapore, where BYD is outselling Tesla at a rate of 5-1 this year. I doubt many care about Elon when making a car purchase decision here, it's simply down to better EV #Tesla#BYD
@mikepat711 Elon owns 12% of Tesla, that share is worth around $120b. But he also owns 42% of SpaceX , and that share is worth approx $150b now.
Cooking for SpaceX makes the most sense for him.
Many seem to think that passing on tariff costs simply means increasing sticker prices. In reality, the fastest way to do it is to cut discounts and promotions.

$AAPL enjoyed the full spoils of globalization. A brand that sold in US and China well, benefiting from Chinese manufacturing. Now they look like the biggest victim of the reverse..

At this point. @amazon should simply help sellers by automatically raising prices across the board by 15% and leave it to sellers to adjust down/run deals if they want to.
Saves everyone the effort of going into seller central and making the adjustments one by one #Amazonfba #ecommerce
@tomlyamazon@michaelpatron0@ajassy Amazon has designed their network for delivery speed, but consumers now care more about other factors. Shein/Temu model can have much lower cost & have the delivery costs hidden/subsidises as they exploit the de-minimis tariff loophole
Side by side Comfortdelgro vs $GRAB . Comfortdelgro larger, significantly more profitable, just a shade slower growing .. but 10X smaller in market cap
Nothing to see here except an old school transport company posting growth rates not far off from $GRAB , profitably and returning cash to shareholders

Why are so many #AI agents interfacing with humans with chat, when it's really email that drives the business world. I want to forward an email and an agent does the rest based on the information in the email.
Just a reminder that when $GRAB de-SPACed in 2021 at $40Bn mkt cap, they forecasted to reach $4.5Bn net rev & $0.5Bn EBITDA by 2023.
Tomorrow they report 2024, which they is guided at $2.78Bn net rev and $0.3Bn Adjusted EBITDA...
Makes sense that China puts pressure on the US companies with large China businesses in retaliation to tariffs. Next up, $TSLA

It used to be that tech jobs were the ones least susceptible to retrenchment risk. Then covid happened.
Another category of jobs that are low risk are government jobs, but now the tone set by DOGE may change the in other governments too.
@kirentanna I reported a couple then realised they were being sent via different accounts so it keeps coming... wonder what's the rates like, must be cheap to target Singapore users
