@Topgolf@mister__buzz Waiting to hear “I’m sorry, but you only initially reached out by DM. Once we made contact you needed to fly to our headquarters to meet with our COO in person to discuss the situation.”
@KySportsRadio I mean I agree he’s full of shit but he knows he’s lying. The more the invisible accordion gets played the more you know he knows he is making shit up on the fly.
@Alan_Couzens Super helpful, thank you! Based on your in-depth response I will now run somewhere between 6MPH - 12MPH for 1 to 12 minutes approximately 1 to 10 times every 1 to 7 days...
@DavidDack I just ran my first real 5K race yesterday at 33:25 and was quite happy with that. Was a PR for me, enjoyed it, and am looking forward to getting better. To me that is the definition of "good."
@Riley_Gaines_ I get it. You can’t share your real feelings because it would dry up your source of income. I hope you find that ability someday in the future when he is no longer in power.
@Jungle__Jay Don’t be shy and ask questions. Do whatever you enjoy and will do consistently. Check your ego at the door. Nutrition matters. Rest days are critical. Strength training and cardio are equally important. Hydrate.
@TonyLaneNV As long as they don't try to push past their row I don't mind. I like to stand up and get my stuff because it's nice to stretch after sitting for so long, and I can get up and go when it's my turn instead of taking an eternity like some people to get their stuff down.
@Michaelfiore Well done!
I'm 50, also weigh just under 200 now (have lost 150 pounds over the last 18 months), and ran my first ever 5K on my treadmill a few weeks ago in 37:11. Signed up for my first real 5K in May, and my new goal is to eventually get to sub 30:00.
@micheal_ws18@Yoc_Star I would clarify and say if you are resting between sets for an appropriate amount of time for the lift, no problem using your phone while doing so. Inappropriate amount of time then you are just being a jerk. If it is really busy let someone work in.
@HankFrank@Danyfab How long did it take you to make that change? I'm a relatively new runner, and having a playlist carefully curated to my cadence has been a tremendous help.
