💚 A heartfelt THANK YOU from Green Shirt Day, the Boulet Family, and our Partners! 💚
On behalf of Green Shirt Day, the Boulet Family, and our Partners, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported this year’s Green Shirt Day. Your compassion and commitment have been nothing short of extraordinary.
Whether you wore your Green Shirt Day T-shirts, shared your stories, registered as organ donors, or encouraged others to do the same—you’ve helped spark powerful conversations and inspire action across the country.
We’re also incredibly grateful to all those who organized community events, secured local proclamations, and requested landmarks to be lit green in honour of Logan Boulet and all organ and tissue donors. Your efforts helped shine a national spotlight on the life-saving importance of organ donation.
Thanks to your support, more Canadians than ever are talking about and registering as organ donors. Each action brings us one step closer to saving more lives.
So from the bottom of our hearts—THANK YOU. Let’s keep the momentum going. Together, we’re creating a legacy of hope and generosity.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Green Shirt Day, the Boulet Family, and our Partners

💚 It started with one conversation… 💚
#GreenShirtDay | April 7
Logan Boulet’s choice to become an organ donor sparked a nationwide movement after his tragic passing in the Humboldt Broncos crash on April 7, 2018. His parents share their story to emphasize the importance of having a conversation about your organ donation wishes with your loved ones. This is the #LoganBouletEffect.

🕊️ April 6, 2025 – Honouring the Humboldt Broncos, 7 Years Later 💚💛
Today, we pause to remember the 16 lives lost and the 13 lives forever changed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash on April 6, 2018.
Seven years later, the pain of that day is still felt deeply across Canada and beyond. But so too is the powerful legacy of Logan Boulet and the incredible ripple effect of his decision to register as an organ donor. His selfless act inspired over 150,000 Canadians to follow his lead — a movement now known as the Logan Boulet Effect.
💚 On this solemn anniversary, Green Shirt Day stands with the families, teammates, first responders, and all who continue to carry this loss in their hearts.
💚 We honour the memory of the Broncos by continuing to share their story and encourage organ donor registration across the country.
💚 Let us continue to turn tragedy into hope — one green shirt, one conversation, one donor registration at a time.
📅 Green Shirt Day is tomorrow — April 7. Wear green to honour Logan, the Broncos, and to inspire organ donor awareness and registration. Together, we can make a difference.

Home school mom from Britain told @ABDanielleSmith that some kids are not smart enough to go to university and all they need is grade 10 to go into trades.
Danielle listens to home school mom experts. Danielle agrees that trades are for inferior students.
We need help.

Algorithmic Bias. When #ChatGPTplus was asked to generate an image of a "rural Alberta principal greeting students at the beginning of the school day", it consistently showed bias. 80% of the time it generates a Caucasian male principal (not the ratio we have in Alberta). #abed

Bosses who insult and intimidate don't get results. They leave people scarred.
Data: when NBA players have abusive coaches, they play more poorly for the rest of their careers—and commit more technical fouls.
Weak leaders make people weaker. Strong leaders make people stronger.
I’m honoured to bring a keynote & declaration of hope to 100 very caring school counsellors today.
In times of volatility, complexity, uncertainty & ambiguity, we must support them for their care - thank them for their steady hearts, kindness & networks of support #abed#edchat
