During Covid 2020, nurses who were due to leave the NHS decided to stay.
In the face of a relatively unknown pathogen and at risk to themselves, they stayed.
Don’t question their commitment.
Question why, after 12yrs, they are 20% poorer.
My first thought at learning we’ll have an extra Monday off in May is for all those teachers with double GCSE classes on Mondays.

One for #throwbackthursday: a few years back I stood outside Wells Cathedral for a full day and photographed the impact of the light on the front facade. I was amazed at the outcome - at how a single entity could morph and change under the changing light.
