@aserkin I've used Naviance in Canada as a HS teacher, but also MaiaLearning. Depends on the school board. Her guidance counsellor should be able to let her know early in the year.
So true! As soon as an insect is witnessed by students, you have to abandon the lesson and catch it. Everything else is futile 🐜 🐞 🐛 However, if you’re lucky sometimes you as the teacher spot it and can redirect the students to avoid seeing it until the lesson is over!
Today a spider was hanging from the ceiling, and my students noticed it but continued to take notes and pay attention to my presentation. That is how amazing I am at classroom management.
I’m kidding. It was absolute chaos. Students screamed, until I caught it.
With buses cancelled, the @ElmwoodDotCa Gr. 12s who could safely make it in to school today suggested that we should demonstrate our knowledge of VSEPR structures through snow sculptures. It turned out great! #iteachchem#outdoored#Chemistry
