@penisoutliney @davemeltzerWON Daniel Cormier is probably the highest profile example of a replacement being used, so in a combat tournament like this, I’d say no.
@iaminstagood@davemeltzerWON Paul Levesque asked for media to use his real name. If he used “McMahon” instead of Vince, there might be confusion over which one he means; Steph and Shane also have input.
@mmpadellan Ignorant Brit here; didn’t Trump introduce tariffs last time he was president? Did Biden get rid of them? Would Kamala have done so either? Also, fuck Trump (just so no one thinks I support him) but Dems were ok with Trump’s last tariffs, right?
@anishgiri Smart idea. Get the blunders out the way in match one. Everyone else can relax as they don’t have to worry about being the worst performance!
@EthanWilliamTa1@roverseas Always felt the rule was a little racist/ xenophobic. English speakers won’t wave a card; they ask or tell the ref to book the opponent. Card waving is for when there is a language barrier and we see plenty at world cups where players and referees speak different languages.
@Mylifeinrandom@SaintsBoy06@AewDefender And this only happens with AEW and no other sporting or entertainment events? Or would Wrestlemania or the Super Bowl have the same issue? If they do, it’s a non issue. If they don’t, does that make AEW more popular than them? Touts don’t but tickets for events that don’t sell
@FabrizioRomano@VI_nl Haven’t Villa had 3 ACL injuries this season? And Emery never uses it as an excuse. I get Man Utd have suffered a lot of injuries this year, but so have Spurs, Villa, Newcastle and Chelsea. And they all managed to finish above Utd.
@rkilshawuk@ianherbert@AndyDJane@Rovers Totally agree. A new owner couldn’t put more money in as we are at the FFP limits. Signing young players with potential from League 1 is our best bet. And hope for a few more like Kaminski and Tronstad from abroad too. We have to buy with the aim to sell on.
Hi @PetsatHome our easy repeat dog food subscription was due last Friday. Still no sign of it and no one is answering the phone or live chat. What’s the easiest way to cancel?
@Berkshireblade@reluctantnicko It’s not guaranteed. But if we lose £10 million a year and lose our best players every year, it gets worse. If the owners could spend more, we could compete more and maybe get promoted. But we get worse each year and our debt increases anyway.
@Berkshireblade@reluctantnicko Everton lost over £400 million when they breached FFP. My club Blackburn have lost over £100 million and we lose £10 million a season. FFP isn’t protecting clubs from debt. It has just hamstrung us so we can’t spend our way out.
@Pibasedlifeform @langhorovers@reluctantnicko That’s the fear I suppose. Especially with the court issues in India. But the fact we are constantly skirting FFP limits, and had to sell the training ground, means we have to find other revenue streams.
@Pibasedlifeform @langhorovers@reluctantnicko Only other way out is to sell our youth assets, which we’re starting to do. I’m hoping some Wharton money is available and if we can cash in on one or two more, we can hopefully strengthen enough. But that’s the optimist’s best case scenario
