@GeorgeFoulkes@andyburnham At Tynecastle today an old friend told me that he had always voted Labour before but would vote snp now that @andyburnham is PM!
@The_Timalloys@AgentScotland Though he was off the pace a bit as well. Could be the long lay off time will tell. After getting caught out a few times early on I thought he adapted his positioning and had a pretty decent game. Their big n.o. 7 will be a handful for anyone tbf
@Wullie28239214@wjrainey76 Think itโs time for pro refs not guys doing a 2nd job. Thereโs to much at stake now. If they train together and work on rules, mistakes, scenarios on a daily basis hopefully more consistency would develop. Also spreading the ref pool pretty thin with needing var officials.
@afneil it makes you wonder how any of these independent countryโs survive. I mean whatโs the odds, independence is the norm throughout the world but poor wee skint Scotland could never manage on its own. England obviously benefit from Scotland or this union would be over ages ago
@michaeljmarra Itโs not a great look for WM either, years and years of poor spending and vanity projects, test and trace, ppe failure, Tory austerity and brexit. Not exactly a great advert for staying in the union. You certainly would not vote to join the union in this state.
@michaeljmarra Why are England so keen to supposedly hold up Scotland financially if they are getting nothing out of it - surely they would be better of without us. Letโs face it they ainโt doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
@michaeljmarra Being independent is the norm and most countryโs do very well. Handing over your money to your neighbours and getting a percentage back is not. Maybe itโs time for a fair UK or GB parliament with equal voting for all and England should have its own separate government.
@heraldscotland Not bad for a country that canโt borrow. Shows the failure of this union. Surely Westminster will be desperate to offload this scrounging neighbour. Thing is if we really didnโt bring anything to the table thatโs exactly what would happen. Hence to small cant manage alone etc.
@bellesareblue@GlennGlennReal Plenty other countryโs smaller than us are doing just fine. May well be a bit tight for a few years until things settle down. Surely if we are such a drain on Westminster they would be glad to see the back of us. Also Barnett formula is not all itโs said to be.
@bellesareblue@GlennGlennReal What the small percentage they give us back while wasting half of what they take from us on vanity projects like hs2 etc. - how do all these other countryโs get by but for some reason you think Scotland canโt.
