We had some being trigger happy.
But here is a case of FIR- HAPPY police station. This is the Kralpora police station in Kupwara.
One minor incident of scuffles between two groups in a disagreement over a pathway took place on 27/08/2026 at 5.30 pm.
The police has so far filed 3 FIRs under numbers 63/26, 64/26, 65/26. Two FIRs were filed by each party. The third was filed yet again. Nobody knows why.
The FIR has the name of a person who is a minor aged 15 years. This is in clear violation JJ act. The minor is terrified. I can’t name the minor. As law does not allow the identification of the minor.
Please @sujitpchauhan Could you please intervene. And this flurry of FIRs. I assure you. It is not without motivation.
I am attaching the copy of FIR.
Renowned Businessman and Social Activist Faizan Khan from Gagal Lolab Kupwara, officially joined JKPC today.
He was warmly welcomed by JKPC President @sajadlone
Theatre of the absurd. NC and BJP protesting against each other.
Both are in power.
Who is campaigning against whom.
Spare a thought for the protesting medical interns. They are the academic cream of J & K. They are protesting against the pittance that they are paid.
The pain of the protesting medical interns is the real pain. Please could the two ruling parties NC and BJP stop this theatre and let the focus be on the protesting interns.
The easiest fraud in politics is to roar before your people and kneel before power.
And once again, The old JKNC choreography returns.
Anti-BJP warriors in Kashmir. Conveniently compliant in Delhi.
Abuse the BJP here & roar. Appease the BJP there & lick boots.
A lion for the cameras in Kashmir, a house cat in the corridors of Delhi.
Two faces. One politics. Just political hypocrisy in its most exquisite form.
Scores of prominent workers of different political thoughts joined JKPC today. They were warmly welcomed by party president @sajadlone .
Chief Spokesperson @bashirdaradv , YJKPC Provincial President Kashmir @sufi_tahir19 and others were also present on the occasion.
A day on the ground in Ramhal Block.
JKPC President & MLA Handwara @sajadlone visited Villgam and several areas of Ramhal to review developmental works and assess the progress of ongoing projects.
He interacted with students, teachers and faculty at higher secondary schools and Government Degree College Villgam, besides reviewing healthcare facilities at SDH Villgam and water-supply infrastructure at Punzwa Storage Tank.
Listening, assessing and acting on the ground— he assured people that genuine issues will be taken up on priority, with necessary interventions for the overall development of Ramhal.
On the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, may the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ inspire us to uphold compassion, justice, humility and peace.

The decision of tarrif hike from government is very unfortunate decision and will affect the poor people of j&k.
The government must revist this decision and implement their promised 200 free units of electricity
Dear Mr. @RahulGandhi needed your attention towards something very important.
My heartfelt appreciation for the effort you put in to register an FIR for an injury sustained by the firing of pellets in Delhi recently.
BUT
May I with all the humility at my command beg to ask that why the same effort was not used when pellets were fired in Kashmir on many occasions.
Thankfully the injury inflicted in Delhi was minor. Comparatively Kashmir has a horrendous record of blindings and fatal injuries due to pellets.
Between 2016 and 2017, the then J&K Government reported 6,221 people injured by pellet firing, including 782 people with eye injuries.
Hundreds lost their eyesight and were blinded for life, with permanent visual impatient. Thousands were disabled permanently because of gruesome injuries.
In 2010, there was unrest in the Kashmir valley, and pellets were used for the first time.
There were injuries and blindings. Dozens were blinded and hundreds were injured, causing severe permanent disability.
My question is.
Why was the same concern not shown for those Kashmiris who were blinded or grievously injured.
Are Kashmiris less human than others in this country. I would say. It is still not too late.
You can come here and talk about it and even try to register an FIR. This would at least put focus on those forgotten pellet victims.
NC and PDP were the local parties in alliance with national parties during 2016 and 2010 pellet blindings. The Home department under them. Incidentally both NC and PDP are part of the INDIA alliance.
Till date there has not been even an apology from these two parties.
Please do not attribute any motives.
My hand on my heart, I really want you to do well.
But I believe that people of Kashmir deserve that you come here and show the same concern for pellet victims as you have shown in Delhi.
It is time to send a message to all.
The Kashmiris are not lesser human beings.
Let law be the same for all.
Let there be no space for selective justice and
let us not allow our own people to be tyrannised.
Two years ago, the promise was 200 units of free electricity. Today, the people of J&K are being handed higher electricity bills.
The PDD’s own communique reportedly states that the CM, as In-charge Minister of PDD, approved a proposal for a 5% tariff hike, which JERC ultimately increased to 6.83%. The result? An additional burden of over ₹500 crore on already struggling consumers.
This is not merely a policy failure—it is a blatant contradiction of the promise on which people were asked to place their trust.
People were promised free electricity. They got smart meters, advance billing and tariff hikes.
The election promise was 200 units free. The reality is: pay more.
My deepest “congratulations” to those who voted for this model of relief. 🤔
