5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil.

These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch.

There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made.

Someone in that room picked up a phone.
And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars.

American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it.

This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions.

This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight.

You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question.

Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that.

I am the defendant in a lawsuit so I have firsthand experience. Once served I had 20 days to file an “Answer” which formally responds to each allegation. A website which helps pro se defendants draft Answers essentially hinted “deny everything” and prepared a document to file. I asked GPT to review and it said that was a terrible idea and would prejudice the court and the plaintiff against me. Since then GPT has helped me with negotiation scripts, procedural filings, how to present to the judge, and the like. But all these things are my works with AI assistance, and GPT often disclaims that it is not acting in the capacity of an attorney just a pro se advisor. I expect OpenAI will show that this woman chose to ignore many such disclaimers. And what about the websites helping pro se defendants prepare questionable Answers — why would they be any less liable?

This is a man who owns stocks, real estate, and companies.

David Friedberg, investor, All-In Podcast host broke down how de-dollarization is gutting the middle class in real time.

The government keeps spending and the dollar weakens.

Stocks, real estate, goes up and everything the wealthy own keeps climbing.

They don't even have to do anything.

Most Americans don't own assets. They're net negative.

They live off a paycheck.

The dollar loses value, and that paycheck shrinks.

Rent climbs, groceries cost more.

The top 1% now holds 31.7% of all wealth in America.

Highest share ever recorded.

The bottom 50% holds 2.5%.

$55 trillion sits with the wealthiest 1%.

That's roughly what the bottom 90% has, combined.

And the gap is still widening.

The Gini coefficient, the global standard for measuring inequality just hit a 60-year high.

Worker wages as a share of GDP? A 75 year low.

Now drop AI into the middle of it.

Yesterday, Jack Dorsey gutted nearly half of Block's entire workforce.

Over 4,000 people, gone in one single firing.

Block wasn't struggling and they posted $10 billion in gross profit last year.

The stock ripped 22% higher on the announcement.

Sit with that for a second.

4,000 people lost their livelihoods and investors made billions.

That's the economy Friedberg is warning about.

Dorsey went further.

He told the world most companies will follow within a year.

"Intelligence tools have redefined the process of creating and managing a company."

Look at the last two months alone.

Amazon, 16,000 jobs in January. Dow, 4,500. Pinterest, Meta, Nike, Allianz, WiseTech, all pointing at AI.

49,000 tech jobs wiped out since the start of 2026.

Forrester says 10.4 million American jobs will be permanently gone by 2030.

These jobs are gone and replaced by models and automation.

And the money those systems generate? It goes straight to shareholders and executives.

The people being replaced never see a dime of it.

Friedberg pointed at what's already happening on the streets.

Minnesota protests.

50,000 people marching through Minneapolis in January.

He said the economic divide is the fuel underneath all of it.

Then he said the thing no billionaire is supposed to say.

A wealth tax might be unavoidable.

Not because he wants one because the only other option is worse.

"Can you do it violently or nonviolently? If there's a nonviolent path, that's probably the preferable path."

A billionaire is telling you the system is cracking.

AI is speeding it up.

The people getting laid off can't buy stocks with their severance.

The people making billions off AI aren't hiring replacements.

This is the biggest economic story of the decade.

The Trump administration is turning ICE and Customs and Border Protection into an armed juggernaut. Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has uncovered contracts worth at least $144 million for weapons, ammunition, and accessories during Trump’s first year.

That is a FOURFOLD INCREASE for ICE and a doubling for CBP compared to 2024. This is not routine law enforcement, but is a deliberate buildup of lethal firepower for a domestic force that will be around for years.

Schiff’s report, shared with The New Republic’s Greg Sargent, details the haul. ICE signed deals with Geissele Automatics for millions in “precision long guns and accessories” to equip armed agents. These are AR-style rifles built to military specifications.
CBP ordered millions more in rifles. Both agencies have locked in Glock contracts for millions in handguns and accessories. Combined, they are acquiring thousands of high-powered lethal weapons at taxpayer expense.

The ammunition orders alone exceed $30 million. Non-lethal contracts top $25 million for Tasers, pepper spray, and tear gas canisters.

This is not about border security; this is Snake Plissken-level dystopia. Trump is preparing an unaccountable, heavily armed DOMESTIC POLICE FORCE ready to enforce mass deportations and crush dissent. The scale is staggering. The intent is terrifying.
Schiff called it what it is: a “grotesque expansion of power.” Just as post-9/11 security grew unconstrained, this MAGA terror bureaucracy is amassing troops and firepower with no end in sight.

War profiteers are cashing in while communities face an increasingly militarized ICE. This is not protection. This is OCCUPATION.

Institutions questioned. Courts framed as partisan. Election officials portrayed as enemies. From the outside, the escalation feels incremental rather than sudden.

Europe has warned about democratic backsliding for years. The pattern is familiar: delegitimize the vote, centralize authority, frame opposition as existential threat, invoke emergency powers. It is procedural before it is dramatic. Legal before it is violent. By the time the violence appears, the narrative architecture is already built.

And January 6 remains the hinge point. Many Americans still treat it as an aberration, a chaotic day that spiraled. Europeans tend to see it as a stress test that revealed how far rhetoric had already moved the boundary of acceptable behavior. It was shocking. It was chaotic. But it did not emerge from nowhere. Political ecosystems do not spontaneously combust without oxygen.

Speculation about foreign forces fighting to “get back” the United States may sound theatrical. In reality, democracies do not rescue each other with armies. They influence through pressure, alliances, trade, and legitimacy. If the United States drifts toward emergency rule over elections, the confrontation will be political, economic, and institutional long before it is military. NATO is built to defend territory, not adjudicate internal constitutional crises.

The real question is not whether this is shocking. The question is whether Americans now see the pattern as clearly as outsiders do. Democracies rarely collapse in a single dramatic act. They change incrementally, justified step by justified step, each one defended as necessary.

Europe recognizes the pattern because it paid for the lesson in the past. The uncertainty now is whether the United States believes it is exempt from history.
