@a967bbeea7bf4f7@Her3130 It doesnt change the fact of what you did, it just that he took the punishment for us. We are still required to repent and turn away from the wrong that we’ve done. If that is not occurring, then all your saying is external words and nothing inside of you has shifted.
@a967bbeea7bf4f7@Her3130 People still need to be responsible for what they do. In fact, moreso after you grow your relationship closer with Jesus. But when the heart shifts, desire to do wicked stuff starts to fade.
@a967bbeea7bf4f7@Her3130 When you put your whole heart in Jesus and realize what he did, your heart begins to shift towards righteousness and good. That’s what brings about better fruit in someone’s life.
@Atomsmade If you know anything about this story, God ordered him to do that and then the last minute told him not too to showcase the difference between him and the false gods like baal that people were sacrificing babies/children too.If you actually read scripture, you can understand this
@Maximumatheist He’s so fake that one of the main words every human says when something happens is, “Jesus Christ” or a variation of that. Hmm I wonder why.
So wild cause he opens up your mind and makes you more mindful vs mindless. I hope you can find him in your heart one day.
@MarcoFoster_@jasonselvig@TheGoodLiars “It’s hard to win an argument with an intelligent person. It’s impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.”
@UnderscoreGav@JeremyTate41@the_culturist_ God (being Jesus) got killed in a dreadful way himself. We live in a fallen world and people have the free will to do evil things unfortunately, but if you put your faith in him and obey him, you inherit the free gift of eternal life and can be a light in this dark world.
@MasterMaliq First off what you just named are literally benefits of following Jesus. But if I had to add a couple more, following Jesus gives you eternity living with him and not separated from him. Following Jesus gives you a whole new perspective on the world and what success is to you.
