Congrats to Daniel Obrist on a great paper that flew through review at PNAS! @jlharrison10, @kwong_charlotte and I were delighted to contribute! I'm especially delighted that @kwong_charlotte's senior undergrad thesis in @Columbia DEES was such a key part!
@roseAtmos we did it! Above canopy OCS concentrations in Howland Forest measuring on the QCL! I got to โwalkโ up that tower. Although it was snowing when I did it...
After some long days, the OCS obs are up and running at Howland Forest in Maine! Perk of bring PI is that @jlharrison10 had to install all the lines on the tower :)
@chase_roper Recently Xfinity incorrectly linked my account to someone elseโs and added all these random people to my account. They had access to billing info, etc. And I couldnโt unlink the accounts. Took 3 months calling weekly to finally fix it.
@EllenEBrandell@AcademicChatter I sometimes add lines across to physically separate the two parts of the email (intro/ question vs details). The recipient can choose to read that section or not, depending on if they need more detail.
@EllenEBrandell@AcademicChatter I like to separate out long quotes/paragraphs from the body of the email. I start with intro pleasantries and the Q, then my sign off & name. Below that I include the paragraph for reference. Tends to be less overwhelming when formatted this way!
