@AirlineFlyer@JFKairport Interesting! My train vs car decision depends on the size of my bag, rather than cost. I can't safely carry a checked bag up and down the stairs on the train/subway. There is no elevator at my subway stop and the escalator are broken ~half the time.
@Caroline_Clason To be honest, I think more people are properly offline these days so when their OOO goes nowhere the review process just stalls. I think that's a fault in the system.
Inspired by @ed_hawkins, @AtmosScience have developed a tool to generate air quality stripes. Here is the plot for Delhi, India. It shows clearly how we have made bad policy decisions when it comes to air quality in India https://t.co/gmZGVmt9ho
NYC is planting large numbers of trees to improve livability, but emissions from some species interact with tailpipe and building pollutants to form smog, finds new study by @LamontEarth postdoc Dandan Wei, atmospheric scientist @roseAtmos, colleagues: https://t.co/yBJ9ED5r7s
Great overview of our new study in ES&T! Planting lots more oaks will make the #airquality in NYC worse! Lots more biogenic isoprene than we previously thought:
