@CristaCowan I have 112,000 matches, lots I know where they fit but I haven't actually added them to the tree. The ones I've added are to my brick wall lines - so maybe 100??

@AllysGenealogy I had to give up searching for William Williams, each dang son also named a kid William Williams and so forth. And not one of them ever used a middle initial 🤬

@holtsfamilyhis1 I love LibraryThing, been a member for a while now. There used to be and possibly still is a way to add the book/pamphlet once you add all the data even if it doesn't show up on a search. Reach out to the team on LT and they can help

@FamilyTreeUK @DapperHistorian So, I shouldn't believe the tree that states my 5th G Grandma was a pirate in Australia while at the same time having 5 children in the US? Dang it, I so wanted a pirate in my line especially one who could teleport to other continents :)

New #Genealogy pet peeve, a large family tree with NO place names! Just countries of birth and death. Gee how many John Smiths lived in England and the US and were married to a Mary. Ok, time for a break #familyhistory

@SimpleLivinGene When your Jones marries a Carter who is the daughter of a Smith (maiden name) and the Smith is also related to the Jones (on several lines). 🙄🧐

@gene_alogy I only write down a research question if I need to find something tricky. My way of thinking learning doesn't fit with the written research plan, all the questions are in my head but I have trouble writing it down nice and neat to start. Do what works for you
