@BBGreatMoments Vladimir Guerrero with 9 HR and less than 60 RBIs making this contract count!! (Well, he said it’s not about the future but what he “did in the past”

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@FrancysRomero And seems to have the right attitude, this is someone who deserves to be on the $500MM conversation, as opposed to failure Guerrero Jr.

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@onair_blair Sure, ask Him to have this contract, this season and those comments in Boston, NY, LA and let me know if he comes out alive …

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@JoeyVotto Truly, Guerrero SENIOR is indeed a Pro.

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@Sportsnet I thought we did not know / understand how contracts work ? Sorry, this is confusing …who’s the one who doesn’t understand then ?

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@ArdenZwelling Wait, he said “we don’t understand how it works” …then he confirmed he felt what he said and mentioned he was “sorry” fans “don’t understand “…

So, what is he apologizing for ? I thought us fans are not business savvy enough and he was lecturing us on how negotiations work…

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@sidseixeiroshow Failure

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@thejaysnation The guy who said he’s already been paid for what he has done

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@antoniopuesan El Expresó claramente lo dicho, lo Que usted intenta es desviar a traves de Una “interpretacion” lo claramente comunicado…

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@TorontoIDDoc Very accurate, he said what he said extremely clearly, we’ve seen him smiling after batting for doubleplay, dance in the clubhouse while his team is losing a game, and do the ridiculous water bucket charade while his team is having a poor season, I am not surprised he said this

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@bhlademyst I speak Spanish (mother tongue) you trying to paraphrase what he said into something he did not is a failed attempt, he articulated his message well, it was just terrible

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@6ixbuzztv Guerrero acknowledging that more is expected of him and showing accountability around his poor performance, committing to working hard to earn his salary …

Oh , wait …

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@Raptors Is he also getting paid for what “he already did”? As opposed to what’s he expected to do next 2 years ?

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@YahooSports @ShamsCharania Don’t get too excited, Apparently he’s also getting paid for what “he did” expect nothing from him within the next 2 seasons

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@VernonWells10 Sometimes instead of trying to come up with ways to clean up someone’s statements, it’s simply best to admit they were wrong, I speak Spanish, I heard what he said, this is not someone not “articulating properly” rather someone with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@YahooSports This explains a lot, explains why he comes back to the dogout with a smile after batting for double play, why he’s more worried about a water bucket than improving his extremely poor performance, it’s an utter lack of accountability and a terrible view on him and Jays Management

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@Sportsnet @thehazelmae @ShiDavidi Do not try to clean this up by saying “lost in translation” Spanish is my mother tongue and he said what he said, and it’s completely irresponsible and a terrible view, lack of accountability.

[JESUS LOPEZ @jlopezsand]

@thehazelmae Seems like you are trying to clean up the horrible take of his message around his salary, terrible view which confirms his complete lack of accountability, embarrassing take and something Ross Atkins should be following up with
