Not knowing where your child is can be devastating. Not knowing is its own pain.

For five years, Abubaka has carried the pain of his daughter’s disappearance. When he joined the @ICRC_Nigeria and @nrcs_ng accompanying programme to support families of missing people, he found something he desperately needed: others who understood.

Sharing his journey with other parents helped him feel less alone.

And still, he carries hope. Because when you love someone who is missing, hope is not something you simply have; it is something you hold on to, day after day.

For families affected by armed conflict, food shortages leaves children vulnerable to hunger.
