@_loganlee@AlexFinn Honestly the Claude chrome extension is decent out of the box. You can also record yourself doing it once and explaining how to do it and it will be able to replicate.
@kurlyk27@GoogleDeepMind They do this intentionally to show improvements seem more significant. Apple does the same with its iPhone and MacBook releases
@USWREMichael@PeteHegseth@DarioAmodei@DeptofWar Is the military control in the room with us right now? What part of Anthropic denying the removal of safeguards for military use classifies as trying to ‘personally control the US military’?? This is satire right? Get a grip on life and touch some grass
@unusual_whales This is misleading. Buyers can back out of the purchase for any reason during the home inspection period, it’s a catch all excuse to let you get out before finalizing the deal so if course that option is going to be inflated.
@Benzinga $GOOG will no longer be paying $20B a year for $AAPL to choose it as default. Great for Google, bad for Apple. Not to mention the degrading marginal benefit of new Apple products year after year.
@zebird0@a16z@speedrun Unable to DM you because I’m not verified. I saw your post on LinkedIn initially but couldn’t send a message there because we aren’t connected. Would love to discuss this opportunity. I’m technical and AI focused with startup, advisory, and board experience (plus ex-founder)
@jackfriks You’re better off throwing into a high yield checking account or an investment account to sit and collect 4% interest. 1% is abysmal. Fidelity is 3.8%, Capital One Performance Savings is also about the same. Paying for Robinhood Gold gets you 4% as well. Don’t have to invest it
@jts_14 Also recommend using file context once you get to a certain size of your code base (assuming you have a good idea of what is happening in what part of your code). This way it doesn’t need to reference your whole code base. Good to break things up into smaller modular files too
@jts_14 Clear the history with a fresh chat. Once you get to a safe state for your build, you no longer need the history bogging down your context window.
I built an AI app that can be used locally offline to transcribe voice to text. What are the pros and cons of making this a one-time download file vs moving it to a cloud server and requiring online access (for registration verification) to use? Any help is appreciated
@messycables1@minchoi This is the main issue I’m experiencing. I haven’t tried o1 yet, but I use other AI for coding. Most of the time the hard part is making changes or fixing bugs. AI can be good at giving you what you asked for initially in one shot, but making changes afterwards is a headache
@rileybrown_ai I run into issues connecting Cursor to Replit. I generated my SSH key, followed the instructions, but I keep getting an error when connecting via SSH. Any documentation that can help or would you have a few minutes to help?
