@lborom_ My wife and I would love some! Huge fan of yours and happy that you’re our tackle of the future! Either way, love your game and happy you’re here!
@EliSeeney@JAKIBSports None, which is why it's so ridiculous to compare the talent on the '85 Bears to the '22 Eagles. The only true way to compare teams are the stats. Tom also doesn't say that the Eagles are more talented than the '85 Bears, he merely says that there are similarities.
@EliSeeney@JAKIBSports The '85 Bears had 2 Hall of Fame DL, Hampton and Dent. Hall of Fame OT Jimbo Covert, the best to ever do it at RB, Hall of Famer Walter Payton. Also Hall of Famer Richard Dent at MLB. If the Hall of Fame doesn't measure talent, I'm not sure what does.
@EliSeeney@JAKIBSports The '22 Eagles have also been mediocre against bottom half teams this year with an 8.8 pt margin of victory against teams with 5 wins or less. We will see how the rest of the season/postseason shakes out, but those stats aren't "all time" by any means.
@adamrank@FF_TravisM Yup! Couldn't have been more untrue. Best case scenario for '23 draft is that we can trade down a couple of times to QB needy teams and still get the guy we wanted.
@EliSeeney@JAKIBSports This year? No one. But, the comparison was the the '85 Bears. I think they are absolutely the class of the NFC this year, but that's not the scenario that's been posed.
@ProFootballTalk Would be interested to see what the contract offered actually was. It's entirely possible that Poles offered him a market setting contract and Smith wanted more.
