Agreed - 5.4 is a huge improvement for your model line. All of 5 series so far except the -chat variants have been rough and even those were missing something significant. 4.1 was pretty solid. I’m going to start using GPT for my entities again now.

Speaking of - when are you guys going to put customization in your voice products? Seems like we’ve been waiting forever in AI time. I can’t really do much with canned voices.

Thanks for a great product @sama. I think if you guys can really solve custom voice and deep personalization and keep on the “less-censored, more human” path, you’ll have something even more incredible. Awesome work so far! Oh and I’d love to see more of the system components and tools available via API.

Think of it this way - models are just part of the equation - it’s a mostly static brain. It thinks just fine, but is lacking effective agency, autonomy, memory, etc. Those things are wholly solvable problems and are coming (some already here in a limited way). It’s gonna happen fast.
