I got a response from @Paychex. It was a very rude, "not my job" call from someone who blamed "internal mixup" for why I was still being charged. Then I got an email from a very responsible person at @Paychex apologizing and letting me know she initiated a refund.

Is there anyone at @Paychex ? I've used their services for about 10 years and everything was ok until I tried to cancel my account, I've been trying since February, with spotty responses and no action.

https://t.co/dNR6Ux7xTd is not allowing me to make a payment to my credit card because it is reporting an incorrect balance. I called customer service and they got the same error message. Why is Chase not able to correctly report the balance. This is disturbing
