@mfjlewis There is no doctrinal “dispute” with the Pope. He is the ultimate spokesman for the doctrine! He is infallible when he teaches doctrine. If you don’t believe it you are not a Catholic. It is dogma.
@MMurphy1834181@mfjlewis Which of you have the arrogance to decide whether a duly elected Pope is not “valid”? Go to Mass: “We pray for Pope Francis”. 2 billion Catholics can’t be wrong! Who do you think you are?!
@NovusOrdoWatch@DrKwasniewski The beauty of the Mass is not in the ritual but in its mystery of love. Rituals may change and are culturally conditioned; the mystery of truth neither change nor culturally conditioned
@BishStrickland The truth of Jesus Christ is unchanging ; but your human mind can never fathom its depth or the mystery! You constantly grow in your understanding. If you don’t, you become blind like the Pharisees Jn.9
@ShaneSchaetzel Absolutely! We have a “duty” to vote in a committed felon, rapist, a fellow who separated children from their mothers, defrauder of students, insurrectionist, a “…y grabber, a pathological liar, twice divorced…go ahead!!
@NovusOrdoWatch Nice try! You call the Holy Father by his former name? How profoundly disrespectful. Your father must have been absent in your life and you never learned basic etiquette! Some Novus Ordo?!
@NovusOrdoWatch This Novus Ordo, the atheistic Russian Troll, maliciously twists the Holy Father’s words and the spirit of what he is saying. A confessor should be like Jesus: “neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”! Always forgive!
@LisaMKnobel@FrLavery How come then the Blessed Mother is telling me the opposite of what you are saying? One of us is clearly wrong. What I heard is consonant with the Magisterium; what you thought you heard is not! Guess who is wrong?!
@FrLavery So says the agent of the devil. The Catholic church is until the end of time( its rituals, language are culturally conditioned but not its nature or faith. Whoever you are suggesting to leave the Church is not guided by God!
@RyanLEllis@NelwynToes@jimbretzke Revelation was complete. But the unraveling of the mystery in terms of human understanding is asymptotic and never exhausted. No human mind or the Church can comprehend the mystery of God once and for all! We grow, God does not!
@CarloMVigano Vigano does not have a clue about the great world religions; he thinks he knows better than the 6000 plus bishops who voted in Lumen Gentium , approved infallibly by all the Popes. Arrogance has no limits!
@BishStrickland The moral absolute is do good and avoid evil. Therein lies also the problem: capital punishment and to refuse asylum to those whose life is in danger, voting for a convicted felon and an insurrectionist …are not evil for a bishop like Strickland! Who decides your “absolutes”?
@MrCasey62 The concept of omnipresence is a space-bound anthropomorphic term to describe a spiritual reality that transcends space and time. Spiritual realities by definition is omnipresent meaning transcending space. Don’t be concrete!
