@DestinyBulletn I used to love the game. Now I just want them to end it.
Finish it.
Turn the servers off.
I just want them to stop bastardising what used to be a good game.
@BaigaTom@falloutplays This is what happens when you inflate sales projections for more cash from Sony, make yourself virtually non-dismissible from the company through particulars of the deal and then don’t have to worry about consequences.
@Bungie Developers didn’t make sales projections to create an artificial inflation of the studio’s value to sell to Sony. Management did.
What’s happening now is not right, but it’s expected when a company is absorbed by a larger one - key roles are covered within the larger structure.
@PippaRoman @MAFShysteria MAFS does one thing right - it does an exceptional work when it comes to identifying people who need therapy, not marriage. Most contestants need some sort of intervention. Some more than others
@WretchedH0llow@CammyCakesYT I see your point.
What is the goal though-keep people playing the same thing over and over and hope for rng or give people what they want or provide players who have already invested in the content a mechanism to get what they want quicker?
@PaulTassi Sony might be going for centralised development of their games, overseen by small-ish lead teams from big studios. Pool all your resources into one (cheaper) location, control everything tightly and, well, profit. Shared service centres, service delivery centres, etc
@LUCKYY10P God, times must be really desperate, if bright dust is meant to make people log in.

Knowing Bungie this is a sinister campaign to push in game ads for final shape preorders and hoping to capitalise on it.
Gotta be hitting revenue numbers somehow
