My first time being published!
We continue to push the use of knowledge graphs as open data infrastructure and this is the next phase where interoperable graphs enable inter-linked data sharing and harmonization.

๐We've just published a new paper focused on an architecture for interoperable spatial knowledge graphs where we introduce the concept of a Spatial Knowledge Mesh (SKM) to improve data sharing.
We're presenting on the topic at @foss4g this week!

Is anyone going to #pnwclimateweek interested in a WhatsApp channel to more casually connect?
If you know of another messaging option please let me know.
I'm very pleased to share the full details on 'fiboa' - a data schema and ecosystem to improve the interoperability of agricultural field boundaries and related data. It's my favorite project to work on lately. Start with our intro post:

Just in โ data from our newest Earth-observing satellite, PACE!
With PACE data, scientists can study microscopic life in the ocean and particles in the air, allowing us to monitor ocean health, air pollution, and impacts of climate change. More: https://t.co/qq4OBYhxYC
At the crossroads of tech and global well-being, how can we innovate for the greater good? ๐ฟ๐ค
Join @GeordanShannon from @Unexia_org at #ECBerkeley to explore tech-driven solutions for complex problems, including global health.

@geo_will The use cases driving right now are climate related. We're working with other knowledge graph teams to build interoperable knowledge networks (and tools to facilitate) that help teams understand climate risk and disaster response.
@geo_will The open systems we build for managing data as knowledge graphs offer both a native input to AI models and object level knowledge making traceability more possible. In other words this is enabling government teams (non DBAs) to build graphs + contribute their data to AI models
Join us tomorrow at 12:00 pm ET for a focused conversation on the solutions making a real impact in environmental stewardship and innovation.

Truth. I've seen (myself included) many people ruin their personal health from building for the public good. This is the other side of opensource that few talk about.
