@claymarsh Are you aware that pediatricians don’t want to test children for covid and actually discourage parents from having their symptomatic child tested? Doesn’t this skew the data to make it appear safer for students than it really is?
@BradMcElhinny Pediatricians aren’t testing children. We were told they would just consider them positive if they developed symptoms because they had a known exposure.
@claymarsh@hebb_angela We will never have accurate data for our schools. Pediatricians says there is no need to test a child that is symptomatic if they have a known exposure. They will just treat them as positive. This is putting teachers, staff, and community members at risk.
Using QR codes & Microsoft Forms... a simple, digital way for children to alert their trusted adult that they want to speak to them 💜 Here is an example of it in action 🙌🏼

Some of the most important work you’ll do today won’t be your lessons, your assessments, or your technology.
The most important work will be your encouragement of others, your connection with your students, and your passion for making a difference.
What you do matters.

@drpurnell Getting my office ready for a year of unknowns. I’ve got two reminders from early in my career in NJ to help keep me focused, positive, and driven to make a difference. Thanks for your inspiration all those years ago.

@pernilleripp We are using these amazing, free hyperdocs with our 5th graders. I think there are some older age books in there, but if not, it still might give you some ideas for a way to structure your study. https://t.co/xxo4zo7sMi
@GovMikeDeWine Please tell me how I'm not able to safely social distance at my seasonal campground spot? You're opening up retail where I'd easily come within 6 feet of lots of people, but I can't sit at my fire ring at my campground barely within earshot of other people?
