@krufrank Absolutely not. Kotkiemi couldn't get in the lineup... been a bust on 2 teams and trending downwards. Chytil can't stay healthy but when hes in the lineup adds speed and an offensive threat. If he suffers another conky that would be the end of his career but covered under LTIR.

@kaitalkscanucks Agreed. Maximize the assets. We have never done well with this....ie; letting players like Markstrom and Hamhuis walk for nothing. There's tons of examples over the years. Get the most you can when value is the highest during a rebuild.

@kaitalkscanucks So what you're saying is the upper echelon of Americans are the ones wanting out. This is just the start of this trend. Gaudreau, Tkachuk x2, Hellebyuk, Hughes, Miller, McGroarty...and this is only in 3-4 years. This should be quite concerning. I'd be leary with really high picks
