@jonmasters I have both an A+E M.2 Coral and a USB ZigBee dongle passed through to my Home Assistant (HAOS) KVM guest and don't recall anything other that it just working first time.
New bathroom BT mirror can only be paired to one device at a time, leading to one of us shouting "turn off bluetooth on your phone" to the other.
Home Assistant to the rescue again. Paired mirror to HA and used Spotify Connect + VLC to expose to both phones. Everyone's happy!
@duncmat @ShaneOSullivan I was referring to paperwork and lots of people sticking with G98. If you are willing to pay for G99 certification then yes, it seems like they'll give you what they can.
@ShaneOSullivan @duncmat Yes, but the level of difference between NC6 and NC7 is odd. Basically everyone gets 25A on NC6 inform and fit, whereas you go through all the hoops with NC7 and get an ~4A. Maybe NC6 is too generous. UK DNOs a lot more restrictive.
@duncmat @ShaneOSullivan π€―π€― Seems strange that they would advertise NC7 as up to 17kVA single phase if it is impossible to achieve with their calculations.
@duncmat @ShaneOSullivan Do they share reasoning with you on the MEC letter or just provide the MEC figure? Surprised they didn't provide MEC = MIC tbh. Is that decision final or can you appeal?
@roomitchell@Solis_Inverters@SolarEdgePV Surplus generation lost in that case. Might be worth considering a DC battery if you're massively oversizing the array.
Thought I found a tzdata bug... but TIL Ireland and UK are technically in different timezones. Irish Standard Time is UTC+1, with a *negative* DST offset to arrive at UTC+0 in winter.

@tomasmcguinness Hybrids will charge battery first so usually happens when either you're exceeding max battery charge rate and surplus spills as AC, or you've a load in house and surplus spills to DC. Don't have a Solax but happens on a Solis for sure.
