Spoiler alerts are for readers, not editors and agents.
Editors and agents want spoilers in submissions. Don't tease us about a huge secret reveal in your book. Tell us what it is in your query.
That's what will sell us on your book.

It is possible to revise a book too much.
Sometimes, the only way to move forward is move on to the next book.
It's not a failure if you have to put a book aside.
It's part of the process of becoming an author.
You grow with each book.
Starting your book in the right place is key.
Things to avoid:
Too much backstory dumped in the opening paragraphs.
Too much internal thoughts before your character meets or talks to someone else.
Interactions with other characters than don't set up the story.
