I am really, really looking forward to starting in September. (And I'm also pleased to be working in my own timezone for a change.) If you read Sifted and have thoughts about what we should be doing, please reach out because I’d love to hear what you think.
Sifted's built a strong reputation covering European startups and VC, and is, to me, the most interesting tech publication in Europe right now. I’ll lead content strategy as we grow to become the definitive source of news and research for the European startup and VC industry.
We're hiring our first full-time writer for our soon-to-be daily flagship newsletter. 🥳
If you know startups/tech/business, have a great eye for a story & a delightful turn of phrase, & would like to work with this lovely bunch... please apply:

With a heavy heart, I just hit the "send" button on the final edition of Protocol Source Code. Today's newsletter is a list of our favorite stories from the past three years. Thanks for reading, everyone. https://t.co/p5tHUtM1pn
I’d like to introduce you to the incredible editorial team from @protocol. All of these fantastic people 👇are now available to hire because the publication is winding down. Thanks to @reillymj for some help putting together this very long 🧵
@4ditim is a total wizard with data. Not just that, she is also incredible at telling you what the data means AND what you should pay attention to, and can explain it in ways that even I can understand. She’d be a huge asset to any editorial team needing to dive into the stats.
I think @aj_caughey touched every corner of the newsroom by the time we wound down, helping everyone wrangle data, make sense of it, visualize it, make it look pretty. He’s not just hot with code and charts; he’s also able to tell stories with those tools.
