@Mike_kim714 These post-round breakdowns (and all the other info you give around tournaments) is honestly awesome. Keep doing you. Congrats on an amazing round.
@FergiesRightRef Last summer he wore a Brighton shirt with Adingra on the back. Would be willing to bet this Villarreal shirt has Pepe on the back. Just supporting his international team-mates (as he always has). Total non-issue.
As opposed to Garnacho who was being deliberately provocative.
I know that was a terrible final, but Argentina lost, didn’t have a shot until the 117th minute, one of their most dislikable players got one of the most brain dead red cards ever, and they disgraced themselves at full time.
I’m not sure it could have gone much better.
@samstreetwrites Less about the game, you can play a third place playoff like that when result doesn’t really matter.
More the fact that we hurt France with pace with two wingers who got a combined 1 minute off the bench the other night.
The opportunity was there to do the same to Argentina.
@blazerkings@UtdXclusive@AndyMitten United aren’t done spending yet. And it’s not that we can’t afford to spend £100m+ on a player, but right now it’s not sensible. Showed we have a good starting XI, still needs some upgrades, but the real issue is the depth behind it. See it like where Arsenal were a few years ago
@TridgeTV If that’s the case, should a handsomely paid and supposedly elite manager not change things up, or get a message to the team? There was a hydration break in that time too. Or do we want him to be passive, give up and let the players do what they want?
@allenmufc129 @outspokenoneuk In what world do you think Fulham are selling a player they signed for £25m, who has three years left on his deal (plus an option year), who has improved and just had a great World Cup, for less than £40m in an inflated market?
Never forget that Thomas Tuchel had the audacity to sit there on camera with a smug smile and say Southgate’s England were too afraid to go out of tournaments.
What he did tonight was more spineless than anything we saw over Southgate’s four tournaments. And I’m no Southgate fan
"They were more afraid to drop out of the tournament than having the excitement and hunger to win it" 👀
