The Barwon & Namoi river meets at Walgett. A town with high population of aboriginal people. After 3 very wet years there is no drinking water & when shower in water leaves a greasy film.
Plus fish kill. Kid your self we don’t need a Royal Commission.

Today & tomorrow will be interesting days in both Houses of NSW Parliament, when opposition to the latest Flood Plain Harvesting Regulations will be front & Centre.
These Regulations were cowardly introduced again when Parliament was in recess by NSW Water Minister Anderson

The NT must learn. Cotton wealth in NSW is not shared with the communities and species affected by it. Walgett has not even a decent town hall or civic building from this vast pillaged wealth. The rivers are turned into muddy drains. Drinking water, food ie life affected forever.
