@anon_opin I'm actually longing for the day when practically all motorbikes are electric because it will happen. All the cheap scooters used for food delivery and smaller bikes used for short distance commuting will be silent. Leaving just the weekend warriors.

@tiff_tv @tiff_tv you should read "Gardens of Stone" by Stephen Grady. True story of a British teenage boy living in France who joined the French resistance. Someone should make this into a film. Only problem is most people won't believe what he saw and did.

@nic_carter It's a good question I'd someone to make a documentary film on it. If you go into the 90s and 00s you also have all the dance music and hip hop too. Portishead, Tricky, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Goldie, Roni Size, Chemical Brothers, Fat Boy Slim, Basement Jaxx. It's unreal!

@nic_carter There's probably at least another 20 bands and artists you could mention The Hollies, 10CC, Mike Oldfield, Nick Drake, lots of punk band and new wave bands, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Echo and the Bunnymen, Madness, The Specials. And most of it still stands up today.

@flaneurUK I think the Funky Cat got quite quickly out priced and dynamically outclassed by the MG4. They were £32k new. And that was before we had competition from BYD, discounted E-Corsas and E208s etc

@anon_opin I grew up on an 80s housing estate in Hampshire. The previous owners of the land put in protection orders to preserve two large areas of grass where we could play as kids and a lot of the large fir trees between the houses, and certain ones in peoples gardens. It was idyllic.

@MbarkCherguia That's what happened when he repeatedly provoked a fairly reasonable guy who gave him plenty of chance to stop or walk away. The next person might do a lot worse than push him over. Hopefully the kid will learn a valuable lesson not to go around provoking people.

@AutoPap I'm not sure. Most people don't buy a convertible as a daily and £30k buys you a nice slice off Jag FType, Merc, BMW or even Aston Martin.

@MotoNutJob Had a guy in exactly that spec of car overtake me on the brow of a hill. Really dangerous. I made sure he noticed me behind him. I pulled alongside him and waved at the next set of lights 9 miles later. Just to prove it wasn't worth it.

@Timoldland I like an NSX but I'm sure there's nothing that special about those ones. For the same money you could buy the nicest standard one, a Lotus Evora, a Singer 911 and have change for nearly new Bentley. Or any other combination of 4 or 5 nice cars.

@modernheroestv It was quiet in Nottingham when I filled up last night. But probably only a matter of time before the tiny brains start to panic and make a problem when there isn't one.
