@rmtanca@niccruzpatane I have driven through Kettleman city for over 20 years and have never ever heard anyone use those words in the same sentence. It must be an out of this world experience for you to use that phrase.
@moseskagan@helloitslynne@Cashflow_Cowboy I tried reading East of Eden multiple times but could never get past the first couple of chapters. It wasn’t until I was older, went through more life experiences, that I finally picked it up again and could not put it down.
@thedivinedad I would also recommend reviewing the last year. Each of you create a list of events, trips, good times/bad times, etc. Fun way to do it is the items on the list should be as long as you’ve been married. Can’t set goals without knowing where you’ve been.
@thedivinedad Check out a book called “Designing your life”. It’s mainly for professional development but I think you could adapt it for marriage fairly easily. Check out their resources. https://t.co/LNWwodIqd4
@CollinRugg I don’t believe any reports or rumors unless it’s from Rogan himself. He’s been very clear in the past that he only has on people he finds interesting and wants to talk with. If someone tries to back channel onto the show, that’s an immediate NO. It has to come from Joe.
@cgkmonkey@stayingsaneusa@KonstantinKisin@VDHanson@martyrmade Again I’ve never said Russia was an honorable nation or trustworthy ally, but Russia was in peace negotiations with both Britain/France and Germany. Germany moved faster and was able to get a deal done. That allowed them to focus on the West and take most of Europe.
@cgkmonkey@stayingsaneusa@KonstantinKisin@VDHanson@martyrmade The only reason why he signed anything with Russia in the first place is that he didn’t want a two front war. Once he had most of Europe, he switched focus and tossed his alliance with Russia out the window. He thought he could do the same with Russia as he did with France.
@cgkmonkey@stayingsaneusa@KonstantinKisin@VDHanson@martyrmade Whatever Russia was going to do or not going to do, my entire point is that Hitler had the same game plan he used over and over. Sign a peace treaty, manufacture friction, play victim, break treaty.
@stayingsaneusa@KonstantinKisin@VDHanson@martyrmade In your post you said, “While Daryl interprets it as a potentially genuine offer…”, this is what I’m trying to get at. Based on Hitler’s previous actions in regard to many previous treaties, how can you view it as genuine? His own actions betray him.
@stayingsaneusa@KonstantinKisin@VDHanson@martyrmade So all his treaties and pacts with Czechoslovakia, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania don’t count? Hitler had a bad habit of signing treaties under false pretenses and then breaking them when it was convenient for him. Churchill was right to not trust any offers of peace.
