Overjoyed to announce The Secure Research Data Network Act #SRDN, the crowning achievement of my @AAAS_STPF! Huge thanks to Senator @RonWyden and team for entrusting me with the development and negotiation of this groundbreaking #bipartisan legislation 🧵 https://t.co/J7xqTD52Lx
So here we have the director of the FBI Kash Patel saying,
"I’ve never heard of Stew Peters"
Kash made eight on-air appearances on his podcast.
😂😂😂😂😂
Americans deserve so much better than this shitty administration......
So under Trump’s new laws -
It’s no longer a felony to point a firearm at someone,
For no other reason than taking their picture.
No longer considered Aggravated Assault, a Felony which carries a 5 year sentence?
This is not fucking okay.
Officers were injured defending this Capitol on January 6th.
And now eight Senators snuck in a MILLION-DOLLAR PAYOUT for themselves for being investigated for their possible involvement in the insurrection.
Good morning and Happy Monday to everyone who is disgusted by the spineless caving by 8 Senate Dems last night, giving up the fight for our health insurance premiums when we needed you to HOLD THE LINE.
Haven't you learned ANYTHING?
"Ian" is harvesting olives in Tulare County. He works from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., earning $6.50 per bucket. "The buckets are big and can weigh up to 35 lbs. My hands get sore after a day’s work from carrying the heavy buckets all day long. But this work feeds my family." #WeFeedYou
The vote to reopen the government with no deal on health care is a brutal blow to all those who have stood together to save affordable health care for more than 20 million Americans.
I will vote ‘NO’ with every fiber of my being.
Bernie Sanders just said it plain:
“Tonight, Democrats voted with Republicans to raise healthcare premiums for 20 million Americans and pave the way to kick 15 million off Medicaid. 60,000 will die every year, so the rich can get a trillion-dollar tax cut.”
This was a betrayal of working people.
On Saturday, Trump said that @sethmeyers criticizing him is “probably illegal.”
So, today, I tried to pass a simple resolution stating that criticizing the president isn’t illegal.
Republicans objected.
It’s absurd. There’s no Trump exception to the First Amendment.
@KimboChafinRo@Acyn Without the shutdown these benefits will expire completely crippling rural hospitals and forcing many Americans to go without medical care. I think that’s worth fighting for.
@KimboChafinRo@Acyn About 0.4% of Medicare goes to illegal immigrants for emergency procedures. Seems like a small price to pay to give the other 99.6% healthcare.
@Charles61592281@Acyn I’m sorry y’all feel the need to resort to insults. The facts are the USDA has funds including emergency and contingency funds which are designed to cover lapses in funding (as I stated above). The Judge’s ruling, which has the full effect of law, demands the use of these funds.
@Charles61592281@Acyn The legislation that created SNAP also includes an emergency fund for use in these instances. Trump is choosing to not use it. That’s what this is all about
Today in the Supreme Court, the president’s own lawyers said that the American people will pay 30-80% of the $4 trillion in tariffs.
Meanwhile, we’re experiencing an affordability crisis: rising costs of groceries, cuts to food benefits, and more.
This is a betrayal of trust.
