If you set your house to 68°, the AC would run 24/7 and never reach 68°. Maryland houses are often brick with far better insulation, can easily maintain 68° in summer

@elonmusk Consider the data source: These are mostly innovators/early adopters, those willing to tolerate the most or with lifestyles best suited to an EV. I suspect a survey of prospective new car buyers’ on EVs would look different. The future will likely be a mix of EV and ICE cars
