Scripture needs to be wrapped throughout your life. It needs to be before your eyes and in your ears and all through your mind. It needs to be in your home and in your locker and on your computer and on your mirror and at your desk. It needs to be talked about and sung about and permeating the music you listen to.
When you fill your mind with Scripture, you get to control the playlist of your mind. You become the DJ of your own thoughts.
The Holy Spirit isn't looking for extraordinary people, He's looking for anybody who would say to Him, 'Fill me and do through me things that I cannot do on my own.'
Here is the entirety of episode 2 of the Can I Trust the Bible? documentary we filmed in Egypt 2 years ago. In this installment we tackle the subject as to whether what we have now in modern Bibles is what the original authors wrote.
God doesn't want you to minimize the difficulty of what you are walking through right now, He just wants you to maximize an understanding that whatever your circumstance is — He is greater.
Nothing can satisfy your heart like God. Nothing keeps you from sin better than keeping your eyes on Christ. When you walk with God, you discover your true identity, worth, and purpose. That’s where you discover you can trust God.

We typically just want His plans, but God wants us to take His hand.
For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13

What you do will change. Who you are won’t.
Careers shift. Dreams evolve. Plans break.
But your worth stays anchored in something deeper:
You are made in the image of God and nothing can shake that.
You can’t rush or by pass the process if you want to become who God has created you to be so you can do what you’re called to do. If you yield to the process rather than resist it, you’ll develop the faith muscles you need to carry the promise you’ve been given. Obtaining the promise without having the strength to wisely steward the promise will result in you dropping the promise. The process may be painful, longer than you want and less pleasant than you’d like but it’s by far less painful and much shorter than taking unnecessary detours or ending up in a dead-end. The path is more important than the scenery. Stay on the path. Trust the guide. Put one foot in front of the other and take the next step. You’ll get there if you stay on track.
If we look at the heart of Christ, the mind of Christ, the attitude of Christ, the way Christ treated people, the things He said, the way He lived, the way He valued the world and all things in it, we’ll see in Jesus a picture of what God is like.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1
In order to fulfill your God given purpose you’re going to have to resist the urge to compare or compete with anyone else. You’re going to have to choose to relentlessly pursue your God given calling and forsake the call of lesser things. You’re going to have to build your faith muscles through disciplined bible reading, prayer, fasting, praise and worship. You’re going to have to counter the urge to settle, get comfortable, complacent or lazy. You’re going to have to live with the fact that there’s lots of things that are okay for others to listen to, watch, or talk about —but not you. Running your race and finishing your course is not for the feint of heart. The path to destiny is narrow.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Ephesians 4:4-6
If God planted a dream in your heart, no matter what it looks like right now or where you may have dropped it, it’s time to pick it back up. Dust it off and place it back into God’s hands.
Worry tells you that you are in charge. But who wants that job, anyway? Faith tells you the God who loves you is in charge. Your Maker is in control. You can trust Him. All His ways are good.
