At the protest outside Gracie Mansion in NYC, a shocking moment was captured on video. In the exact second the incident unfolded, an Arab male can be seen running toward activist Jake Lang while yelling “Allahu Akbar,” holding what appears to be an explosive device before throwing it directly at him.

Some people are claiming the object was just a smoke device. However, based on what can be seen in the footage, it appears more likely that the device malfunctioned or was poorly constructed and failed to detonate the way it was intended.
