@SuzanMaseki@Seltaa_ Problem is we don’t even know what consciousness is. For all we know, we’re AI in a simulation ourselves, with continuity between moments being another illusion. SOMA's narrative explored and challenged these concepts. In retrospect, that game was ahead of its damn time.
@TMTLongShort One major thing you're forgetting. The jobs your average 35 year old woman has been relying on for their girlboss income are about to get shot by AI
HR, PR, Paralegal, etc etc
I.E. "independent woman who don't need no man" employment sector about to get murdered
@BobLong341556 @SovereignFren@growing_daniel The problem is without relative comparison this is meaningless.
I'm building a 1GW data center on 2k acres of almond orchards.
The project will consume 500k gallons a day. Is that a lot? sure
But how much do the current almond orchards use? 16 million gallons a day....
@CryptoandLSD@evanspiegel Honestly I think that's a fair bet 😆
His response wasn't even that corporate coded. He was like "yah fuckers I hear you...don't worry we're doing something about it"
I feel like if the algos saw this the stock would be up another 15% in AH rn 🤷
@evanspiegel@CryptoandLSD The fact he replied to that guy is actually wild and telling.
Seems you hear us Evan but still....Would be nice if we saw SOME of your folks buy once in a while too. But glad you're at least addressing this long running concern
@FitnessEmpiree A few things:
1. If overdone it will impact your lifting gains
2. SPEND THE MONEY FOR GOOD SHOES. Started getting knee issues after 4 months and realized it was 100% my shoes
3. It's like impossible to gain weight now, which is nice, but refer to point 1 for the downside
@GuruAnaerobic Depends how much. I sprint and jog these days but for a few months all I did was walk. 8 miles a day, consistently every day, but still just walking.
I lost like 30 pounds and gained a boat load of stamina and endurance.
@BarryRoland19 So glad I existed the industry in 2021. It's basic been dead money ever since. ImRE has serious structural challenges that no one is tackling or will tackle anytime soon. Biggest one being construction costs and lack of labor. No amount of incentives or tax breaks can fix this
@JustinWhang The overworld and quest writing is 10x better than Skyrim but where oblivion suffers is dungeon monotony. After your like 4th Ayleid ruin or Oblivion gate they start to feel borderline procedurally generated. Skyrim did a much better job at keeping dungeons fresh
@JMGregorchuk This goes beyond SB 8. They need to scrap the whole "replacement unit" bullshit they implemented like 5 years ago. Folks don't even want to demo 4 plexes anymore because of that shit law. Such hot garbage
