A2. Babies and toddlers are not just tiny adults. Their immature spine must support a large head in proportion to their bodies. Rear facing seats help equally distribute the crash forces and protect the child’s neck and head. #CheckBeforeYouChange
Kids under 4 years or less than 40 lbs. should be in a car seat, and kept rear-facing as long as possible to maximize safety. Only switch to forward facing when they meet the height or weight limit for their car seat. #CheckBeforeYouChange#T4CIP
