@JillMacyshonCTV @AirPassRightsCA Stranded in Toronto for 9 days from Dec 19-28. WestJet denied our claim for hotel and meals. We responded with a Demand letter and as expected did not receive a reply. We filed with CTA but with a backlog of 18 months, we proceeded with small claims court.

@WestJet This is an absolute joke! Been in YYZ since Dec 19. No email, no response to DM, can’t get through on the phone. Paying $380/night for a hotel. Canceled flights due to lack of staff. Now we wait until Dec 28 to hopefully get home to YVR. Completely ridiculous!

@l_chung @WestJet I’m not sure what compensation you refer to is? We have had no communication from WestJet at all. Still waiting for the email to come since Monday. Camped out at YYZ during the day and had a flight Dec 23 which got canceled today. We now cannot get on a flight home until Dec 28.

@GlobalBC Arrived Dec 19 in YYZ with a connecting flight home to YVR that was delayed 5 hours and then cancelled while taxiing to the runway. We are now stuck in a hotel paying $380/night out of pocket. No communication from WestJet whatsoever. Totally unacceptable!
