@FromTheSeidline In your opinion, what is the primary reason private schools dominate soccer at such a high rate, but not softball? Both rely heavily on club/travel players. Softball tends to rely more on skill specialization vs raw athleticism. Seems like it would be flipped if anything.

@FromTheSeidline As a private school SB coach, I see this. The recipe is often aligning your feeder kids to a local travel team and having them play together under a unified coaching staff from an early age. It's a perfect recipe to build a program. Kudos to the dedication of those communities.

@FromTheSeidline I think the shot clock POV is purely ADs not wanting to install the equipment and hire another clock operator. It's laziness and budget is my guess.

@FromTheSeidline I've always thought that another association is a great option to explore. I'm always for giving more choice. I also think that it could happen within the MHSAA. Allow public schools to opt into a public only bracket, but not require it.

@PassingTimePod @Eagles @dallascowboys @chargers @Chiefs Chiefs will be fine. Cowboys looked better than I expected. Balanced on both sides of the ball. Eagles youth on Defense will draw them back to the pack a bit. Chargers are young and hungry with an elite QB. Going to be a problem in the AFC.

A family tradition. The weekend before Christmas, we pack our family of 8 into our family car and head out for hot dogs and a light tour of West Michigan. With 2 college students, we downgraded our family vehicle and no longer can haul the whole crew. @Avis came to the rescue!
