Ahead of the launch of the Seva First Innovation Challenge, AICTE Chairman Prof. Yogesh Singh and Member Secretary Prof. Shyama Rath held a meeting with the team to take an overview of the upcoming initiative and review the preparations for the launch.

With the launch scheduled for 25 September 2026, the Seva First Innovation Challenge marks another step towards nurturing India’s young minds and encouraging innovation driven by the spirit of Seva and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) | Second Phase

The One Nation One Subscription (ONOS), a landmark initiative providing access to scholarly e-journals for academic and R&D institutions, is proposed to enter its second phase of implementation. This phase may further expand ONOS to Private Universities and Private Deemed to be Universities. The expansion will enable more institutions to access scholarly knowledge resources. A consultative meeting with relevant stakeholders is being planned as part of this process and Institutions interested in participating are invited to register.

The initiative launched on 1 January 2025, aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. The Government of India approved the ONOS scheme to provide nationwide access to high-impact international research articles and journal publications. The scheme benefits students, faculty and researchers in government higher education institutions. ONOS supports students, faculty and researchers across the country getting access to more than 13,000 journals from 30+ publishers, it also provides an opportunity to publish in open access journals.

విదేశాల్లో ఉన్నత విద్యకు బీసీ, ఈబీసీ విద్యార్థులకు సువర్ణావకాశం

మహాత్మా జ్యోతిబా ఫూలే ఓవర్సీస్ విద్యానిధి పథకానికి సెప్టెంబర్ 1 నుంచి దరఖాస్తులు

మహాత్మా జ్యోతిబా ఫూలే బీసీ ఓవర్సీస్ విద్యానిధి పథకం ద్వారా విదేశాల్లో ఉన్నత విద్య అభ్యసించాలనుకునే బీసీ, ఈబీసీ విద్యార్థులకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం మరోసారి అవకాశం కల్పిస్తోంది.2026 ఆగస్టు/సెప్టెంబర్ ఫాల్ సెషన్ కోసం దరఖాస్తుల స్వీకరణ సెప్టెంబర్ 1, 2026 నుంచి సెప్టెంబర్ 30, 2026 వరకు కొనసాగనుంది. ఈ విడతలో మొత్తం 350 మంది విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేయనుండగా, అందులో 250 మంది బీసీ విద్యార్థులు, 100 మంది ఈబీసీ విద్యార్థులు ఉంటారు.

విదేశాల్లో పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్/పీహెచ్‌డీ వంటి ఉన్నత విద్యా కోర్సులు అభ్యసిస్తున్న లేదా అభ్యసించాలనుకుంటున్న అర్హులైన విద్యార్థులు ఈ ���వకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ సూచించింది.

అర్హతలు
కుటుంబ వార్షిక ఆదాయం అన్ని వనరుల నుంచి రూ.5 లక్షల లోపు ఉండాలి.

దరఖాస్తు చేసే నాటికి వయస్సు 35 సంవత్సరాలకు మించకూడదు.

గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్‌లో కనీసం 60 శాతం మార్కులు సాధించి ఉండాలి.

GRE-260 లేదా GMAT-500 స్కోర్ కలిగి ఉండాలి.

TOEFL-60 మార్కులు లేదా IELTS-6.0 లేదా PTE-50 మార్కులు స్కోర్ ఏదైనా కలిగి ఉండాలి.

అర్హత కలిగిన విద్యార్థులు నిర్ణీత గడువులోగా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలని ప్రభుత్వం కోరింది.

AICTE has signed an MoU with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (@jntuhofficial) to establish a robust AICTE Innovation Center – Regional Hub at JNTUH, Telangana.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Yogesh Singh, Chairman, AICTE, and Dr. T.K.K. Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, JNTUH.

The Regional Hub will serve as a catalyst for innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer and intellectual property development, empowering students, faculty, researchers and entrepreneurs across Telangana.

Glimpses of the 80th Independence Day Celebrations at JNTUH.

Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the Strategic Electronics Summit (SES) 2026 held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru on 23 July, 2026.

The MoU aims to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Core Electronics at JNTUH to provide industry-aligned, hands-on skill development in accordance with ESSCI's Qualification Pack(QP)/National Occupational Standard(NOS). It will facilitate the design and delivery of Integrated Certification Programs combining the University's Academic Curriculum with ESSCI's Industry-oriented skilling, assessment, and co-certification framework. The initiative also seeks to strengthen faculty capabilities through Training of Trainers (ToT) programs and promote Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Short-Term certification pathways for students and, where feasible, the surrounding ITI and Polytechnic Ecosystem.

The partnership further aims to create a sustainable, industry-ready talent pipeline in Core Electronics across domains such as Embedded Systems, VLSI, PCB Design, EV Electronics, IoT, and Electronics Manufacturing by enabling Internships, Apprenticeships, and Placement opportunities through ESSCI's Industry Network. Additionally, both organizations will collaborate on Industry need assessments, Curriculum Reviews, and Employability enhancement initiatives to ensure Academic Programs remain aligned with the evolving requirements of the electronics and ESDM sector in Telangana.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit at the University College of Engineering, Science & Technology Hyderabad (UCESTH), JNTUH in association with Isha Foundation celebrated the International Yoga Day 2026 at the Indoor Stadium. Yoga Practitioner and Alumni of JNTUH Ms. Anusha Nalmasu conducted the Yoga Session for the benefit of the Students and Faculty Members. The Yoga Session introduced several Yoga Techniques to the participants starting with the Yoga Namaskara and Naadi Shudhdhi and ending with Meditation session.
