Anna died overnight on April 6, 2026, when the Russians launched a massive attack on the city. Her mother, Daria, also died.💔

They did not make it to the shelter in time.

This beautiful girl had her whole life ahead of her.

Ludmyla and Volodymyr Leonov were killed when a russian missile struck their top-floor apartment in a residential building on July 2.

Their 10-year-old son, Myron, was severely injured and is now an orphan.

The family had fled occupied Berdyansk after the start of the full-scale invasion.

Myron is in stable condition after surgery. He suffered an open tibia fracture, heel bone fractures, a severe traumatic brain injury, a pelvic fracture, compression fractures of the thoracic vertebrae, and significant blood loss.

While much of the world is fascinated by a Russian couple climbing the Empire State Building with their so-called “anti-war protest,” Russia continues doing what it has done every single day for years: killing Ukrainians.

Looking at their social media, it’s hard to believe they oppose this war. They openly praise Putin, Lavrov, and other figures behind Russia’s aggression, while showing no concern for the Ukrainians being killed every day.

Yesterday alone, Russia attacked Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and other Ukrainian cities. Civilians were killed, children were injured, and homes were destroyed.

Somehow, a stunt on the Empire State Building gets more attention than Russia’s daily attacks on Ukraine. That should concern all of us.

Russia is refusing to return four Ukrainian children despite having their identities, legal documentation, and relatives ready to receive them.

It now claims that Ukraine's success on the battlefield is the reason these children cannot be returned.

Russia is openly admitting that it is holding Ukrainian children against their will.

Their return depends solely on the political will and approval of Russia's Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.

The more successfully Ukraine defends itself, the more Russia uses its control over Ukrainian children in the occupied territories as leverage.

This once again proves that the abduction of Ukrainian children is not a byproduct of war — it is a deliberate tool of coercion.

Russia is holding Ukrainian children hostage and using them as bargaining chips to gain military and political advantage.

Now, Russia is attempting to use Ukrainian children as a tool of blackmail — forcing Ukraine into an impossible choice between defending its people on the battlefield and bringing its children home.

Children are not bargaining chips. They must be returned immediately and unconditionally.

Give us a break! The US, especially the GOP, is not very democratic:
1. As a US citizen, you are not automatically entitled to vote in US elections but have to register. The GOP has disqualified millions of legitimate voters on voter rolls.
2. US citizens in DC & Puerto Rico are not represented in Congress.
3. The US pursues massive gerrymandering. Only about 40 out of 435 constituencies are competitive in House elections.
4. Since the SCOTUS verdict Citizens United in 2010, unlimited amounts of dark money are allowed & hundreds of million are used. US elections are to a large extent bought.
5. The Trump billionaires have bought most of US news media & lie without legal limits.
6. Various US bodies have banned at least 23,000 books for mentioning such things as slavery in the US.
7. The US has allowed a convicted felon to be elected president.
8. SCOTUS has given Trump legal immunity.
9. Trump is one of the most corrupt leader in the world the captive US legal system does nothing to check his personal enrichment.
